The campgrounds we have been visiting had problems with their Internet for a few days. So, I’m still catching up with photo processing. The following album has photos from the past week starting with our drive from Nelson to Picton to catch the ferry to Wellington, and pictures of the ferry ride on a beautiful sunny day through the awesome sounds before crossing Cooks Straight to Wellington. Read about this phase in this post. Next, we spent a day visiting the Wellington Zoo (on another warm sunny day), then drove to Napier – home to a very art deco city, then a couple days later drove to Lake Taupo and visited the Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park (geysers and smelly holes in the ground), and finally visited the Huku Falls.
