This is just a quick post to say we are departing Belitung. Not because we want to, but because we need to continue our way to Singapore because of various time factors. We actually had a very unique experience here in Belitung which I want to take some time to explain later. However, you will need to wait a few days.
It will take us about 2 days to get to our next stop – our last stop in Indonesia. There, we hope we will have some time to relax and time to process photos from Bali and Belitung, and write up some blog posts about our experiences.
One thing I’ll just mention about Belitung. We spent a good part of today arranging to get fuel. I got our tanks filled up, but there are a couple of stories to tell about that as well. Anyway, we’ll have no problem motoring our way to the next stop – there’s no wind in the forecast. Typical really for being only 2 degrees from the equator. We’ll be crossing the equator probably within 24 hours.
Just wanted to say Happy Birthday early, so you know I never forget. Can’t wait to see you at Christmas.
